Ludington school board to meet, appoint interim superintendent. 

LUDINGTON — Ludington Area School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting Wednesday, Sept. 8 beginning at 6 p.m. in the administration office boardroom, 809 E. Tinkham Ave. The two action items on the agenda include accepting the resignation of Superintendent Jason Kennedy and approval of an interim superintendent. 

Prior to taking action, the board will interview candidates for interim superintendent and will also hold a search workshop with David Killips of Michigan Leadership Institute. 

Kennedy has accepted the superintendent position for Fruitport Schools.
