Suspicious situation call at Walmart leads to cocaine possession arrest.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 38-year-old Scottville man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for cocaine possession following a reported suspicious situation call at Walmart on US 10 Wednesday, Aug. 11, shortly after noon, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021:

– 5:27 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.

​- 10:10 a.m., ​(Ludington Police Department), a 51-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court for operating while intoxicated, 300 block of West Filer Street​, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

– 11:21 a.m., (MCSO), a 29-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, 6700 block of Virnetta Drive, Pere Marquette Township.

– 4:31 p.m., (MCSO), a 27-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County probation violation warrant, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, City of Ludington.
