51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Aug. 12, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:

Larson

– Howard Mark Larson, 35, of 5607 N. Stiles Rd., Scottville, pleaded “no contest” June 11 to second-offense aggravated domestic violence and was sentenced July 26 to 364 days in jail with credit for 364 days served; 18 months probation; and $658 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed. One count of absconding/forfeiting was dismissed in a separate case.

Gerhardstein

– Ronald Dale Gerhardstein, 35, of 9130 Pine Crt., Kaleva, was found guilty June 11 of domestic violence and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 64 days served; three years probation; and $658 in fines and costs. Charges of criminal sexual conduct (CSC) — assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and interfering with electronic communications were dismissed.

Moline

– Renee Ann Moline, 37, of 616 E. Download St., Ludington, was found guilty May 4 of two counts of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance less than 50 grams and was sentenced July 26 to 18 months probation with credit for four days served in jail and $766 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). Two additional counts of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance less than 50 grams and two counts of maintaining a drug house were dismissed.

Casano

– Karleigh Rai Casano, 27, of 2678 N. Vale Dr., NE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty June 11 of methamphetamine possession and maintaining a drug house and was sentenced July 26 to 18 months probation with credit for two days served in jail and $726 in fines and costs. One count of controlled substance possession was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Martinez

– Geni Brandy Martinez, 45, of 5988 6th St., Ludington, was found guilty May 11 of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and allowing a suspended person to operate and was sentenced July 27 to one year probation with credit for 43 days served in jail and $708 in fines and costs. One count of unlawful driving away of an automobile was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Schmitz

– James Robert Schmitz, 28, of Hart (street address not listed), was found guilty May 6 of methamphetamine possession and improper possession of a firearm and was sentenced July 26 to one year probation with credit for two days served in jail and $708 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
