LUDINGTON — The following criminal cases took place recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Trolz

-Eric Trolz, 31, of 1200 Ellery Ave., Apt. 105, Jackson, Michigan, was arrested July 30 by Michigan State Police (MSP) on felony charges of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine) and possession of a firearm by a felon. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000 cash.

Stratton

-Maisyn Marie Alexander Stratton, 19, of 11694 Waterman Rd., Brooklyn, Michigan, was arrested July 30 by Michigan State Police (MSP) on felony charges of manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (narcotic/cocaine) and felony firearms. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.

-Jessy Lee Avra, 45, of 1744 Patrick Henry, Scottville, was arrested July 28 by MCSO on a felony charge of third-offense OUIL. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.

Whitworth

-Ryan John Whitworth, 41, of 764 W. Hile Rd., Muskegon, was arrested July 4 by MCSO on a felony charge of larceny in a building. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $750 cash.

Wade

-Seth David Judah Wade, 31, of 3605 W. Victory Dr., Victory Township, was arrested Aug. 1 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of third-offense operating while under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and second-offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: Aug. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.

 

 

Misdemeanors

-Paul Edward Hayes, 40, of 7615 W. 96th Place, Crown Point, Indiana; July 28; MSP; fourth-degree child abuse, assault and battery, and disorderly drunk person. Pretrial: Aug. 23 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.

-Jessy Lee Avra, 45, of 1744 Patrick Henry, Scottville; July 28; Ludington Police Department (LPD); disorderly drunk person. Pretrial: Aug. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $100 cash.

-Amber Marie Risteau-Juracko, 33, of 2235 West St., Central Lake, Michigan; Aug. 3; MCSO; disorderly drunk person. Pretrial: Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

-Jordan Thomas Wieand, 21, of 3846 Maple, Wellston; July 16; MCSO; driving while license suspended. Pretrial: Aug. 23 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $100 cash.

-Christopher Aaron Plasterer, 25, of 2328 N. 32nd St., Fountain; Aug. 3; MSP; operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI), improper license plates, and driving while license expired. Pretrial: Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Ashley Ann Martinez, 32, of 117 E. Melendy St., Ludington; Feb. 11; LPD; driving while license suspended. Pretrial: Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. Bail: $100 cash.

Sentencings 

-Marcy Jean Socher, 54, of PO Box 735, Ludington, pleaded guilty Aug. 3 to operating a vehicle without a license and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).
