Jebavy, Bryant construction taking place next two weeks.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Road work will begin at the intersection of Jebavy Drive and Bryant Road starting Monday, Aug. 9. According to the Mason County Road Commission, the contractor’s work is anticipated to take one to two weeks.

The majority of the work will be completed utilizing a shoulder closure, meaning traffic will likely not be interrupted through most of the work. However, there will be a lane closure for approximately one day during the traffic light installation.

The traffic light installation and intersection work is being conducted in connection with the construction of the new Ludington Area School District elementary building on the southwest corner of Jebavy Drive and Bryant Road.

Following installation of the traffic light,  the light will be activated in flashing mode allowing motorists to get used to the traffic light before it is finally activated.
