Fire destroys Sheridan Twp. pole barn.

SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP — Fire destroyed a pole barn at 5417 N. Budzynski Road Saturday evening, July 31, 2021. Fountain Area Fire Department and Free Soil/Meade Fire Department were dispatched to the fire at 10:18 p.m. Upon arrival of the first fire truck, the building was engulfed in flames.

The building is owned by Michael and Barbara Tyler who live next to the building. No one was hurt during the fire.

Custer Fire Department and Branch Fire Department were called to assist. Fountain Area Fire Department Auxiliary was also on scene.
