6 to compete for Miss Mason County title. 

SCOTTVILLE — Six candidates are vying for the title of Miss Mason County 2021. The contestants will participate in a private interview with the judges on August 3, with the pageant occurring on Friday, August 6 at 7 p.m. at the Scottville Clown Band Shell.

Prior to the Miss Mason County Pageant the crowning of the Mason County Princesses will be occurring at the band shell at 6 p.m.; 23 little girls have received crowns.  

Both events are part of the Scottville 10 & 31 Celebration. Activities on Saturday, Aug. 7 will include a car show downtown Scottville along with an ox roast and rubber duck race at Riverside Park. The Western Michigan Old Engine Club’s annual Tractor & Engine Show will also be held throughout the weekend beginning Thursday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 8. 

Miss Mason County candidates include Shelby Stakenas, Alicia Guerra, Megan Ely, Kelly McPike, Nyah Tyron, and Athena Dila. Miss Mason County 2019/2020 is Jennie Golaszewski and Runner Up is Andrea Shoop.
