LHS offering Esports camp. 

Oriole News is a presentation of Ludington Area School District in partnership with Mason County Press.

LUDINGTON — Ludington High School Varsity Esports team will host Esports camp sessions for SMITE and League of Legends players on Tuesday, Aug. 3. Campers will learn about playing as part of an organized Esports team. Camp times are 9 a.m. to noon (SMITE) and 1 to 4 p.m. (League of Legends). The camp is open to incoming sixth graders through 12th grade from any school. Any experience level is welcome. 

The camp will be held at Ludington High School Library. Cost is $10 per camper per segment or $20 for both. Proceeds will go towards the LHS Esports team. 

The first 20 campers to register will be admitted. 

Devices and equipment for gaming will be provided. Players may want to bring their own PC compatible mouse. 

Registration forms and fee should be dropped off at LHS main office between 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
