Scottville accepting commission candidates.

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville City Commission is still accepting letters of interest from citizens who wish to become a commissioner. A vacancy was left open when Commissioner Brian Benyo resigned due to personal reasons and moving out of the city. A qualified candidate must be a resident of the city for at least one year and at least 18-years-old.

Those interested should contact City Manager Jim Newkirk at citymanager@cityofscottville.com or mail or deliver a letter to City Hall, 105 N. Main St., Scottville, MI 49454. Letters are being accepted until Friday, July 30.
