Police search for missing man.

RIVERTON TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for a missing man last seen the afternoon of Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

James Peter Gowan, 56, of Ludington was last seen on foot in the area of Meisenheimer and Stiles roads in Riverton Township. 

“Searches of the area have not found any leads to date,” states Chief Deputy Oscar Davila in a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page Monday, July 19. “Continual searches will be ongoing through the week.”
