LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Chrysler

-Jared Michael Chrysler, 31, of 2914 N. Lakeshore Dr., Ludington, was arrested July 9 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of malicious destruction of police or fire property. Probable cause hearing: July 21 at 1 p.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.

Nicholas Lester

-Nicholas Lee Lester, 33, of 6717 E. Sherman Rd., Sheridan Township, was arrested July 13 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) on felony charges of interfering with electronic communications and domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: July 28 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.

Rodriguez

–Anthony Octavio Rodriguez, 19, of 250 Fifth Ave., Apt. E, Manistee, was arrested July 9 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and a misdemeanor charge of driving while license not valid. Probable cause hearing: July 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

Willoughby

-Jack Daniel Willoughby, 26, of 618 ½ E. Melendy St., Ludington, was arrested July 10 by the State, Sheriff, and City Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended. Probable cause hearing: July 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

Brock

-Ryan Steven Brock, 40, of 15311 Clovernook Dr., Apt. B, Grand Haven, was arrested July 8 by MCSO on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and fourth offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: July 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

VanHoose

-Shawn Marie VanHoose, 54, of 515 S. Mincer, Au Gres, Michigan, was arrested July 10 by MCSO on a felony charge of stealing/retaining a financial transaction device. Probable cause hearing: July 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.

Misdemeanors

-Erik Matthew Doffing, 29, of 7005 W. Tenth St., Ludington; July 9; MCSO; second offense driving while license suspended. Pretrial: July 19 at 1 p.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Christian Lee Mitchell, 30, of 508 E. Danaher St., Apt. 1, Ludington; July 12; Ludington Police Department (LPD); disorderly drunk person. Pretrial: July 26 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Steven Matthew Amy, 49, of 433 N. Bean Rd., Custer Township; July 13; Michigan State Police (MSP); assault and battery. Pretrial: Aug. 2 at 9 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
