Man walking down the road yelling obscenities arrested on outstanding warrants.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Friday, July 9, shortly after 9:30 p.m. following a call reporting a “disorderly person walking in the road swearing and yelling obscenities,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. He was located in the 2900 block of North Lakeshore Drive.

“When identified, it was learned he had three outstanding warrants for failure to appear out of the 51st Circuit Court in Mason County,” said Cole.

After his arrest, he reportedly attempted to kick the rear window out of the patrol car, and now also faces a charge of damaging police property.
