The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office: 

Friday, July 2, 2021.

• 12:10 p.m. Two vehicle crash, with injury, M116 and Lakeshore Drive, Hamlin Township. A 48- year-old Temperance man and his 46-year-old female passenger, also from Temperance, were both treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital following a two-vehicle crash. 
• 4 p.m. Two vehicle crash, no injuries, Elm and Greene streets, City of Scottville. 
• 4:34 p.m. Single vehicle rollover crash, with injuries, Pere Marquette Highway north of Oceana County Drive, Summit Township. A 39-year-old Hart female and 10-year-old Hart male both received minor injuries.
• 7:05 p.m. A 21-year-old Wellston man was cited following a traffic stop for driving while license suspended, US 31 and Townline Road, Grant Township.
• 7:51 p.m. Two vehicle crash, no injuries, Logan and Epworth Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8:28 p.m. A 28-year-old Port Huron woman was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, second offense following a traffic stop. Her vehicle was clocked by a deputy at 103 mph in a 75 mph speed zone. Her 26-year-old passenger, also a Port Huron woman, was cited for possession of open intoxicant container. 

Saturday, July 3, 2021.

• 1:06 a.m. A 38-year-old East Lansing man was arrested following a 911 call reporting an assault in the 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The victim, a juvenile, received cuts to the face but did not require medical treatment.
• 1:14 p.m. Two vehicle crash, no injuries, Main and State streets, City of Scottville.
• 2:36 p.m. A 35-year-old Gowen man was cited following a traffic stop at Benson and Hansen roads, Branch Township for not having a driver’s license (never applied). 
• 11:10 p.m. Car/deer crash, no injuries, Lincoln Road north of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township. 

Sunday, July 4, 2021.

• 6 a.m. Car/deer crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive south of Ehler Road, Hamlin Township. 
• 11:13 a.m. Two vehicle crash, no injuries, 100 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.’
• 6:24 p.m. A 58-year-old Greenville man received minor injuries after the motorcycle he was operating slide into the rear of a slowed vehicle in front of him on US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township. 
• 11:04 p.m. Two vehicle crash, minor injuries, Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street, Pere Marquette Township. A 19-year-old San Tan, Ari. woman and a 58-year-old Branch man received minor injuries.
