Jonesville woman charged with stealing vehicle.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 28-year-old Jonesville, Mich. woman was arrested Saturday, July 3, 2021 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly stealing a vehicle. Naomi Ashley Bahe of 503 East St., Jonesville, was arraigned in 79th District Court on the felony charge of unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle. The vehicle was allegedly stolen from the 1500 block of North Betty Avenue.

According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, a “be on the lookout” was issued by the MCSO early Saturday morning. An Oceana County Sheriff’s Office deputy spotted the vehicle on US 31 near Shelby Road in Oceana County. A traffic stop was conducted and Bahe was turned over to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. 

Bail was set at $25,000 cash. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. on July 14. 

Bahe was on probation for a previous offense. She was sentenced to two years imprisonment in May 3, 2021 for a Nov. 29, 2020 offense of malicious destruction of fire or police property in Hillsdale County.
