Woman reportedly causes disturbance at Meijer.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 23-year-old Custer woman was arrested Wednesday, June 30, shortly after 6 p.m. after she allegedly caused a disturbance at Meijer on US 10 and then struggled with Mason County sheriff’s deputies who were attempting to escort her out of the store, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

She was charged with resisting and opposing arrest.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday, June 30, 2021 includes:

  • 2:04 a.m., a 38-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for heroin possession following a traffic stop, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
  • 2:41 a.m., a 24-year-old Manistee woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County for a driving while license suspended (DWLS) charge, US 31 and Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township.
  • 5:33 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Meyers Road south of Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 6:10 a.m., one-vehicle rollover crash, northbound US 31 off-ramp at US 10 westbound, Amber Township. A 38-year-old Muskegon man received a minor injury. 
  • 6:37 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Manales Road, Sherman Township.
  • 8 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Conrad Road, Victory Township.
