Drivers receive minor injuries in 2-vehicle crash on US 31.

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — A 25-year-old Kalava man and a 45-year-old Scottville woman both sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Friday, June 25, shortly after 2:30 p.m. on US 31 at North Scottville Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The man attempted a left turn from US 31 onto North Scottville Road into the path of the woman, said Sheriff Cole. Both were treated at the scene by Life EMS.

– 1:12 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), warrant arrest and methamphetamine possession, 5500 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. A 21-year-old Scottville man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, and a warrant is being sought for a 39-year-old Scottville woman for meth possession following a traffic stop in which both were passengers.

– 5:48 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 and Fountain Road, Sherman Township.

– 1:42 p.m., (MCSO), a 53-year-old Scottville man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) following a citizen’s call reporting an intoxicated driver, Jebavy Drive north of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 11:23 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.

Saturday, June 26, 2021:

– 2:30 a.m., (MCSO), a 21-year-old Hart man was arrested for OWI following a traffic stop, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.

– 9:39 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.

– 4:42 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 31-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Madison and Filer streets, City of Ludington.

Sunday, June 27, 2021:

– 10:16 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.

– 10:19 a.m., (LPD), a 55-year-old Ludington woman was cited for DWLS, Adams and First streets, City of Ludington.

– 11:33 a.m., (MCSO), stolen car, 200 block of Thornwild Drive, City of Scottville. The complainant reported a 2005 silver Dodge Neon with a Michigan registration of DTD5051 was missing from the Thornwild Apartments. The vehicle is entered in the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.

– 12:28 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 30-year-old Custer man was cited for operating without insurance, US 10 and Stephens Road, Custer Township.

– 12:48 p.m., (LPD), a 43-year-old Ludington woman was cited for DWLS, Filer and Harrison streets, City of Ludington.

– 2:20 p.m., (LPD), a 65-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS, Dowland and Delia streets, City of Ludington.

– 3:27 p.m., (MSP), a 28-year-old Manistee man was cited for operating without insurance and unlawful license plate, US 10 near Centerline Road, Amber Township.

– 8:04 p.m., (LPD), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Free Soil Road west of Tubbs Road, Free Soil Township.
