Meth possession arrest tops police activity.

The following is activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, June 22, 2021:

  • 7:07 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Millerton Road, Sherman Township.
  • 7:08 a.m., possession of meth and warrant arrest, 9300 block of North US 31, Grant Township. A 35-year-old Roscommon, Michigan woman was arrested following a reported “suspicious person” call after she was found to be in possession of meth and also had warrants for dangerous drugs issued by the Michigan State Police, Alpena post, and a criminal bench warrant for failure to appear in Alpena County.
  • 8:22 p.m., warrant arrest, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. A 44-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a Mason County criminal bench warrant for failure to appear.
