The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, June 21, 2021:

  • 5:24 a.m, (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road east of US 31, Sherman Township.
  • 9:53 a.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $25.66 in fuel stolen, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:16 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Dewey Road west of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
  • 1:51 a.m.,  (MCSO), larceny, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The complainant reported leaving her purse at the store, and upon returning for it, the complainant noticed it was gone. The case remains under investigation. 
  • 8:45 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 22-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), First Street and Conrad Industrial Drive, City of Ludington.
  • 9:53 p.m., (LPD), a ​48-year-old Scottville man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court, 700 block of North Rowe Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 10:50 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of LaSalle Road, Amber Township.
