Brass knuckles, meth found during traffic stop.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 34-year-old Ludington man was arrested on charges of methamphetamine possession and carrying a concealed weapon Tuesday, June 15, shortly before 3 a.m. following a traffic stop at US 10 and Meyers Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“He was reportedly found to be in possession of meth and brass knuckles,” said Sheriff Cole.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Tuesday, June 15, 2021:  

  • 5:45 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Fountain Road, Victory Township.
  • 7:28 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
  • 7:37 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
  • ​8:36 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court, 200 block of East Fifth Street​, City of Ludington. The original charge was retail fraud. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 9:15 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:46 p.m., (MCSO), a 34-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on a felony dangerous drugs warrant issued in Muskegon County, 5400 block of West Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township.
