LUDINGTON — On Monday, June 7, Megan Tresnak of Ludington donated 100 chemotherapy bags to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital’s Cancer Center. Tresnak raised over $2,300 to place items that are useful to cancer patients during their treatment, she said. Tresnak is a consultant for Thirty-One Gifts and donated her commission to be used toward the bags.

“For me this is not about making money, but it is about spreading joy in a time when we need it the most,” Tresnak said. “These patients deserve to have some sort of joy before beginning a journey that they never wanted to start.

In addition to donating herself, Tresnak received donations, discounted items, and gift certificates from Magee Insurance, West Shore Bank, Sister Bee’s, Krave, The Vintage Tub, Culver’s and Riverflats Coffee and Tea.

“We also had leftover money and items that we were able to do 15 staff bags. These bags are filled with fun items for the staff,” she said.
