Scottville woman allegedly fights with deputies during domestic violence arrest.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 31-year-old Scottville woman allegedly fought with Mason County sheriff’s deputies during her arrest for domestic violence in the 200 block of North Amber Road Thursday, June 3, shortly before 11 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The suspect was arrested following a 911 call reporting an assault. No injuries were reported.

Thursday, June 3, 2021:

1:28 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Hansen Road, Amber Township.

10:17 a.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Mason County man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 31 and Hansen Road, Amber Township.

3:34 p.m., (MCSO), a 62-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting a fight at a residence, 2500 block of East Michigan Street, Village of Free Soil.

​4:27 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 57-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a contempt of court warrant issued in Mason County, 500 East Dowland Street​, City of Ludington.  He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

5:49 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street, Pere Marquette Township.

8:20 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.

11:40 p.m., (MCSO), a 27-year-old Baldwin man was arrested following a traffic stop on a parole absconder warrant issued by the Lansing Tether Unit, and his passenger — a 25-year-old Ludington woman — was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, Ludington and Washington avenues, City of Ludington.

Friday, June 4, 2021:

2:21 a.m., (LPD), ​a 30-year-old Battle Creek man was arrested for domestic assault, Pine and Jackson ​streets, City of Ludington. The suspect also had multiple warrants for his arrest including: 85th District, Manistee for failure to appear; Calhon County for a Friend of Court warrant; and a second FOC warrant for child neglect. The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail. The domestic victim, a 29-year-old Battle Creek woman, was showed no visible injuries at the time of complaint.
