PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 54-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for operating while intoxicated after falling off the moped he was operating Friday, May 28, around 5:30 p.m. on Pere Marquette Highway at Conrad Road, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

One warrant was a contempt of court issued by the Wyoming Police Department, and the second was a failure to appear warrant issued in Newaygo County. Her passenger, a 32-year-old Wyoming, Michigan man, was arrested on a criminal bench warrant for failure to appear issued in Newaygo County.
• 6:52 p.m., (MCSO), a 57-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding criminal bench warrant for failure to appear issued by the Ludington Police Department following a traffic stop, Bryant Road and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
• 7:05 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $20 in fuel stolen, Scottville EZ Mart, 100 block of East State Street, City of Scottville.
