Gas stolen from company trucks.

The police news is a presentation of Lenz-Balder Insurance, offering Nationwide Insurance, 201 E. Court St., Ludington, 231-845-6279, www.lenzbalderins.com.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP —A thief or thieves stole approximately $80 in fuel from company trucks parked in the 100 block of South Jebavy Drive, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The theft was reported Thursday, May 27 around 4 p.m.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Thursday includes:

  • 6:20 am., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
  • 7:45 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 8:29 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Stephens Road, Sherman Township.
  • 3:38 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
