The following recent death information has been reported to MCP:
- Jack Shriver, 83, of Scottville, died on March 13, 2021. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 from noon to 2 p.m. at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.
- Gustave Andrew “Gus” Backelant, 81, of Jefferson, formerly of Ludington, died on Sunday, April 25, 2021. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Ludington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.oakgroveludington.com.
- MaryAnn Chaffee, 78, of Ludington, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Arrangements by Beacon Funeral and Cremation Services.
