The following is police activity in Mason County Tuesday, May 18​, 2021:

• 9:27 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), gas drive-off, $15.04 in fuel stolen, Ludington EZ Mart, 5900 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 9:49 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a 21-year-old Wellston man was arrested on a probation violation warrant issued by the 51st Circuit Court in Mason County, Pineway Apartments, City of Ludington. ​The suspect’s original charge was meth possession, and he absconded from his treatment facility, said Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
