The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Wednesday, May 12, 2021:

  • 2:55 p.m., a 29-year-old Kerrville, Texas woman was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, Main and Sanders streets, Village of Custer.
  • 3:20 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 3:36 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, northbound US 31 off-ramp and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 4:52 p.m., two-vehicle hit and run crash, no injury, US 31 south of LaSalle Road, Grant Township.
  • 5:04 p.m., damaged property, 1100 block of West Marrison Road, Riverton Township. The complainant reported damage done to a wheat field from vehicles tearing it up.
  • 11:16 p.m., a 41-year-old Scottville man was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants out of Lake County following a traffic stop, Main Street south of Scottville Road, City of Scottville.

Thursday, May 13, 2021:

  • 11:08 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Fountain Road west of Stiles Road, Victory Township.
  • 11:23 a.m., alarm activation, Amber Township.
  • 6:42 p.m., a 58-year-old Free Soil man was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, Reek Road and First Street, Custer Township.
