79th District Court sentencings, posted May 6, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Tyler Austin Hendrickson, 26, of 915 Maple St., Ludington, pleaded guilty on May 5 to domestic violence and attempted assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to 16 days in jail with credit for 16 days served; one year discretionary jail for 18 months; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $645 in fines/costs. A felony charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.

-Amanda Jean Couturier, 30, of 3850 W. Hansen Rd., Amber Township, pleaded guilty May 4 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) second offense and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete current outpatient counseling program; and $870 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). A charge of transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle was dismissed.

-Steven Troy Miller, 46, of 6775 S. Branch Rd., Branch, pleaded guilty May 4 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and possession of a firearm while under the influence and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must forfeit the weapon to the state; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must attend victim’s impact panel; must attend AA two times per week; must complete Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content level of over .17 was dismissed.

-Jeremy Ray Parker, 41, of 1933 W. Hansen Rd., Amber Township, pleaded guilty May 4 to breaking and entering and was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for six days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; and $310 in fines/costs. May perform community service in lieu of paying fines/costs. 

-Mark Edward Henderson, 41, of 166 S. River Ave., Holland, pleaded guilty May 4 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to pay $125 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
