Watch out for phone scam.

MASON COUNTY — Mason County Undersheriff Derrek Wilson is warning residents to be cautious of suspicious phone calls from callers claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House.

“There is another Publishers Clearing House (PCH) phone scam occurring,” said Wilson. “The complainant advised that a subject called and stated that he was with PCH and that they had won a new car. He asked for gift cards in exchange for the car.”
