Fountain man arrested on warrants.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A 24-year-old Fountain man was arrested on two warrants by Mason County sheriff’s deputies following a traffic stop Tuesday, April 6, around 1:30 a.m. at Campbell and Bockstanz roads, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

One warrant was from Manistee County — a bench warrant for failure to appear and one warrant was from Mason County for possession of dangerous drugs.

Other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, April 6, 2021 includes:

  • 6:57 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Lakeshore Drive south of Bradshaw Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 11:56 a.m., car/turkey crash, no injury, US 31 south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 7:17 p.m., a 28-year-old Norton Shores man was cited and released following a traffic stop on charges of driving while license suspended and furnishing false information to police, Quarterline and Forest Trail roads, Grant Township.
  • 8:11 p.m., a 40 year-old Scottville woman was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 400 block of West Third Street, City of Scottville.
