Arneson to retire as director of Staircase Youth Services.

LUDINGTON  – Cindy Arneson, executive director of Staircase Youth Services, has announced she is retiring following 23 years of service at the agency.

“I would like to thank everyone that I have had the pleasure of working with over the years, as well as our board of directors for their support. I have been fortunate to have an amazing staff, who is dedicated to the work that we do for our at-risk, runaway and homeless youth. It has been my privilege and honor to serve this population and it is my hope that this work will continue in the years to come,” said Arneson, who started working for Staircase as the executive director in 1998.

Staircase Youth Services is a nonprofit organization housed at the Lakeshore Resource Network, 920 E. Tinkham Ave. The organization serves at-risk, runaway, and homeless youth in Mason, Lake, Oceana, Manistee, Wexford and Missaukee counties. Arneson has been instrumental in the agency’s mission in serving the at-risk youth of all six counties. With her retirement, the Staircase Youth Services Board of Directors will begin a search for a new executive director.
