Domestic violence arrest tops police activity.

The following is police activity in Mason County Thursday, March 25, 2021:

  • 9:07 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 37-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault, ​100 block of West Melendy Street, City of Ludington​. The victim, a 24-year-old Ludington man, was not injured. The suspect was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • Noon, (LPD), an 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested in Kent County and transported back to the Mason County Jail for a failure to appear warrant issued by the 79th District Court. The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail. The report did not provide the original charge causing the warrant to be issued.
  • ​7:24 p.m., (LPD), ​a 25-year-old Scottville woman was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), Foster and Lavinia​ streets, City of Ludington.
  • 7:59 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 32-year-old Baldwin man was cited for second-offense DWLS following a traffic stop, US 10 and Gordon Road, Amber Township.
  • 9:13 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Morse Road north of Dewey Road, Sheridan Township.
