Car wash break-in tops police activity.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Mason County sheriff’s deputies investigated a breaking and entering at the West Coast Car Wash on South Pere Marquette Highway Monday, March 14, around 1 p.m. It is unknown if anything was stolen.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Monday, March 15, 2021:

  • 7:44 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 47-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving without license, Lincoln and Sixth streets, City of Ludington.
  • 4:53 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 100 block of South Amber Road, Amber Township.
  • 6:49 p.m., a 23-year-old Wellston man was arrested on an outstanding criminal bench warrant issued in Mason County and was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 10 and Benson Road, Branch Township.
  • ​9:31 p.m., (LPD), a 19-year-old Ludington man was cited for DWLS Emily and Melendy streets, City of Ludington. ​
