LUDINGTON — A 36-year-old Ludington man was arrested early this morning, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and for having two outstanding arrest warrants. Police responded to a complaint in the 300 block of North Rowe Street of an intoxicated man in an apartment house who was playing his TV loud and yelling. Police were called to the apartment three times, at 12:54 a.m., 1:15 a.m., and 2:35 a.m. According to a report from LPD, each time the officers arrived the man refused to open his door. The third time there, the officers caught the man out in the apartment building common area. This time the man was directly outside the caller’s door yelling and banging on his door.

The man fled to his apartment through the common area when told he was under arrest.  The officers were able to catch up to him before he locked his apartment door.  After the officers took the man to the ground, the man laid on his arms, refusing to submit to arrest.  The two officers were able to get the man handcuffed.  The man was lodged in the Mason County Jail.  A Ludington officer sustained minor lacerations to their hand.  There were no other injuries.
