SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — A 17-year-old Irons man received non-life-threatening injuries after the vehicle he was operating failed to stop at the westbound stop sign for Sugar Grove Road at US 31 and struck a northbound vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Manistee man Friday, Jan. 22, shortly after 9 a.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The Irons man was taken to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS, and the Manistee man was treated at the scene for minor injuries, said Sheriff Cole.

Friday, Jan. 22, 2021:

• 8:27 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Anthony Road west of Brye Road, Summit Township.
• 10:30 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 10:43 a.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Campbell Road, Branch Township.

Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021:

• 5:26 a.m., assist fire personnel with structure fire, 800 block of North Dennis Road, Amber Township.
• 6:26 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 9:20 a.m., disorderly person arrest, Best Western Hotel, 5000 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. A 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a 911 call reporting a disturbance.
• 11:56 a.m., a 22-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on a probation violation warrant, Oceana Drive and Pere Marquette Highway, Summit Township.
