The following is activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend:

Friday, Jan. 15, 2021:

  • 6:16 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Countyline Road, Grant Township.
  • 9:27 p.m., a 31-year-old Flint woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear  warrant out of Lake County following a traffic stop, 5400 block of West Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021:

  • 7:20 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Stiles Road, Amber Township.
  • 10:39 p.m., a 24-year-old Fountain man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) and no Insurance following a traffic stop, Benson Road near Stolberg Road, Sheridan Township.

Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021:

  • 1:10 a.m., a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old Scottville man were both cited for open intoxicants following a traffic stop, Main and Fifth streets, City of Scottville. Deputies recovered a .380 pistol from the vehicle as well, which was unregistered. A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office related to that charge for review.
  • 2:38 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Townline Road, Victory Township.
