The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, Jan. 4, 2021:

  • 1:30 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Hoague Road east of Custer Road, Free Soil Township.
  • 4:51 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 4:57 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 12:19 p.m.,  (Ludington Police Department), a 30-year-old Fountain area woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Monroe County, Florida, 400 block of South Harrison Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Florida.
  • 6 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Millerton Road east of Stephens Road, Sherman Township.
  • 11:59 p.m., (MCSO), a 37-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
