The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020:

• 1:03 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway and US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 1:52 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jagger Road east of Lincoln Road, Hamlin Township.
• 4:05 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car vs. tree crash, no injuries, Johnson and Gordon roads, Amber Township. The tree fell in the road, and the car hit it.
• 8:01 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Linden Road near Tamarack Road Hamlin Township. A report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office. A vehicle ran off the road; struck a power pole; and left the scene. Deputies located a potential suspect vehicle in the area and were able to match up vehicle parts at the scene with the vehicle in question.

Friday, Dec. 25, 2020:

• 12:52 a.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Darr and Johnson roads, Custer Township.
• 3:10 a.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide-off, no damage/no injury, Chauvez and Schwass roads, Riverton Township.
• 5:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Victory Drive, Victory Township.
• 12:05 p.m., (MSP), plow truck vs. car crash, no injuries, Main and First streets, City of Scottville.
• 5 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 3800 block of Pineview Road, Amber Township.

Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020:

• 1:38 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, minor injury, Brye Road south of Kinney Road, Riverton Township.
• 9:07 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fisher Road east of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
• 10:22 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Freeman Road, Free Soil Township.

Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020:

• 12:37 a.m., (MSP), a 22-year-old Hart man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Campbell Road near Hawley Road, Logan Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 9:32 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.
• 11:20 a.m., (MSP), a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, US 10 near Benson Road, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 2:25 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Michigan and Democrat streets, Village of Free Soil.
• 5:18 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Free Soil Road east of Taylor Road, Meade Township.
• 6:07 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township.
• 6:18 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Fisher Road, Hamlin Township.
• 6:20 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Iris Road and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8:08 p.m., (MCSO), warrant arrest, Roadway Inn, 5000 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. A 43-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on two misdemeanor warrants from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office and a felony assault warrant from the Ludington Police Department following a call reporting a disturbance at the hotel.
• 10:06 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.
