Winter weather advisory issued Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory to take effect at 4 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24 until 7 p.m. on Christmas Day. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 20s early with wind chills in the single digits. Occasionally heavy snow showers with rapid accumulations are possible.

Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020: Christmas Eve

  • Snow showers early becoming more scattered later. Snow accumulations less than one inch during the day with 1 to 3 inches possible in the evening.
  • High 26; low 18
  • Precipitation: 40% day; 48% evening
  • Wind: W 18 mph day; NNW 9 mph evening
  • Humidity: 67% day; 73% evening

  • Cloudy with snow showers mainly in the morning. Snow accumulations of less than one inch. A few flurries or snow showers possible in the evening.
