79th District Court sentencings, posted Nov. 20, 2020.

The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Luke James Zeilenga, 23, of 4016 Ronalds Rd., Dorr, Michigan, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to hunting waterfowl with an unplugged gun and was sentenced to pay $265 in fines/costs.

-Jeremiah Gene Borden, 40, of 68699 38th Ave., Covert, Michigan, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to pay $335 in fines/costs.

-Beverly Turin Downing, 38, of 11418 Ocean Rd., Frisco, Texas, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Priscilla Marie Gutierrez, 29, of 3578 W. Harrison, Hart, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have an anger management evaluation; no contact with the victim; and $285 in fines/costs.

-Richard Allen Spinner, 32, of 202 S. Rowe St., Apt. 2B, Ludington, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to operating as an unlicensed residential builder and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must obtain builder’s license before doing any work; $14,187 in restitution, and $125 in fines/costs.

-Michael Arthur Sagers, 65, of 5105 Millerton Rd., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have an anger management evaluation; no contact with the victim; and $285 in fines/costs.

-Rolando Castillo, 49, of 1825 N. 56th Ave., Mears, pleaded guilty Nov. 17 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $730.35 in fines/costs/restitution.
