PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 33-year-old Scottville man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for methamphetamine possession and carrying a concealed weapon — a handgun — following a traffic stop Tuesday, Nov. 17, shortly after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Michigan State Police from the Hart post responded to a car/deer crash Tuesday at 6:39 p.m. at Reek and Manales roads in Sherman Township.
