Obituary: Walter Sabodor, 78, Ludington.

Walter R. Sabodor, 78, of Ludington, formerly of Hazelcrest Ill., passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020.  

Walter was born on February 8, 1942 in Chicago, the son of Walter and Cecelia Sabodor. He graduated from Chicago Vocational High School with the class of 1960 and married Brenda Kent on March 25, 1972 in Joliet Ill.  Walter was a maintenance supervisor for Bimba Manufacturing, retiring in 2002 after 28 years of dedicated service.  He enjoyed his time outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, boating, or shooting.

Walter is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Sabodor; children, Eric Sabodor, Bill Sabodor, John Chaves, Michael Chavez, and Brian Chavez; siblings, Arlene Bruno and Bill Sabodor; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Besides his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his son, Michael Sabodor; step-son, Ronald Chavez; and step-daughter, Tina Swadner.
