Smith & Eddy Insurance offering ag scholarships.
SCOTTVILLE — Smith & Eddy Insurance along with Fremont Insurance is offering two $1,000 scholarships to Mason County seniors who plan on studying for a career in agriculture. Students must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
“Smith & Eddy is committed to supporting our agricultural community,” said Smith & Eddy Vice President Joe Knowles. “We believe education is a key component of the future of farming.”
To apply, students need to submit the application (download here) by March 2, 2021 with a current transcript and an original essay, limited to no more than 1,000 words, discussing his/her decision to pursue an agricultural career.
