The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, Oct. 30, 2020:

– 5:53 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a warrant is being requested for violation of bond and personal protection order violation, 3400 block of South Masten Road, Logan Township. A report is being forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office for a 50-year-old Branch man who allegedly violated a bond and PPO condition.

– 8:03 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road east of Dennis Road, Victory Township.

– 9:48 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Kinney Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 12:52 p.m., (MCSO), hunter trespassing, 7200 block of East Decker Road, Sheridan Township. The complainant reported capturing pictures of a person trespassing on his land. The case is open.

Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020:

– 2:02 a.m., (MCSO), hit-and-run crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near the Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Township. A warrant is being requested for a 24-year-old Muskegon man after he reportedly fled on foot from the scene of a one-vehicle crash

– 4:26 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Chauvez Road overpass, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:47 a.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, US 31 and Kistler Road, Summit Township.

– 11 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Kinney Road east of Walhalla Road, Logan Township.

– 1:35 p.m., (MSP), a 50-year-old Wellston man was cited for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a single-vehicle crash, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township. No one was injured.

– 7:42 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Dennis Road, Amber Township.

– 8:41 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.

– 9:01 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Custer Township.

– 9:35 p.m., (MCSO), warrant arrest, 6600 block of Basswood Drive, Hamlin Township. A 48-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding Mason County warrant following a call reporting a disturbance.

Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020:

– 10:09 a.m., (MCSO) one-vehicle crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of LaSalle Road, Victory Township). A vehicle struck a tree which had fallen in the roadway.
