Prayer & Praise to host anti-human trafficking summit.

LUDINGTON — Prayer & Praise Assembly of God Church will host a one hour virtual Global Freedom Summit on fighting human trafficking on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.

“Human trafficking is a topic that impacts all parts of society and the church is no exception,” said Pastor Henrik Lidman, lead pastor of Prayer & Praise. “At Prayer & Praise we have become more aware of the need to step into areas where injustice and darkness rule. The area of human trafficking has become the cause that moves us. It is like God shared a little bit of His heart concerning the broken and enslaved, and this engaged our hearts to action. It is becoming our new normal.”

The summit is being presented by A21, an anti-human trafficking organization.

Lidman said the summit is free. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes to the church, 509 N. Staffon St.
