Sugar Grove, First Street construction.

Two county roads are under construction this week, causing traffic to be re-routed:

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP — Sugar Grove Road between US 31 and Tuttle Road will be closed to through traffic beginning today, Sept. 23, through Thursday September 24. Residents, school busses, emergency vehicles will have access but should expect delays and proceed with caution.  The Mason County Road Commission will be trenching along the edges of the existing bituminous roadway and placing gravel in preparation for bituminous paving.  The bituminous paving will be scheduled at a later date.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — First Street will be closed to through traffic between Brye and Stiles roads beginning today through Friday September 25. Residents, school busses, emergency vehicles will have access but should expect delays and proceed with caution.  The Mason County Road Commission will be installing a culvert, adding gravel, grading and compacting the road in preparation for bituminous paving.  The bituminous paving is scheduled for Thursday and Friday
