Construction to close Main Street in Scottville Monday.

SCOTTVILLE — The 100 blocks of North Main Street will be closed at the State Street (US 10) intersection Monday, Sept. 14, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Road crews will be installing traffic signal loops, which are pressure sensitive devices in the street that control the traffic signals, rather than timers, which currently control the lights. The work is weather dependent and expected to take about eight hours. Drivers should seek alternative routes. Truck routes in Scottville are Reinberg Avenue to Broadway Avenue to Columbia Avenue.
