LUDINGTON — A 57-year-old Ludington man arrested by Ludington police officers for his seventh operating while intoxicated (OWI) offense and second-offense driving while license suspended Thursday, Sept. 10, shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of ​Staffon and Maple​ streets, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski of the Ludington Police Department.

Other police activity in Mason County Thursday, Sept, 10, 2020 includes:

– 9:57 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), ​a ​35-year-old Ludington man was arrested on three failure to appear warrants issued by the 79th District Court, 300 block of North Delia Street, City of Ludington.

– 10:50 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), assault, 3000 block of East Decker Road, Sherman Township. A 61-year-old woman reported an assault by a family member. The case remains under investigation.

​- 1:25 p.m., (LPD), a 26-year-old Texas man arrested for operating with a high blood alcohol content, ​300 block of North Franklin St​reet, City of Ludington.

– 5:11 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Branch Township.

– 7:33 p.m., (LPD), a 27-year-old Scottville man was cited for operating without insurance, Washington Avenue and Fitch​ Street, City of Ludington.
