2 injured in Free Soil Township crash.

FREE SOIL TOWNSHIP — A 72-year-old Free Soil woman and her adult son were injured Friday afternoon following a single vehicle crash on Stark Road north of Hasenbank Road. Emergency personnel were called to the scene about 5:30 p.m. The driver and passenger were pinned into the vehicle which was upside down, requiring extrication equipment. They were transported by Life EMS to Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.

Emergency personnel responding included Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Free Soil/Meade Fire Department, Grant Township Fire Department and Life EMS.

Investigators on scene were unclear how the crash occurred.
