MSP arrests Texas man with 3 guns in his vehicle.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A motor carrier officer with the Hart post of the Michigan State Police arrested a 35-year-old Houston, Texas man on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 2:40 p.m. on US 10 near Taylor Road, said Sgt. Dan Thomas.

The suspect had two pistols and a long gun in his vehicle, Thomas said.

Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020:

– 4:16 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Amber Township.

– 11:49 p.m., (MCSO), a 23-year-old Crystal, Michigan man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop, US 31 and Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.

Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020:

– 1:36 a.m., (MSP), a 53-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI), 1100 block of White Road, Grant Township.
