The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020:

– 6:30 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 Freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.

– 12:30 p.m., failure to report a crash, Federal Park Rd 6630, Eden Township. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a vehicle that reportedly crashed in to a tree. No injuries were reported, and the case remains under investigation

– 12:36 p.m., larceny of construction material, 7700 block of North Reek Road, Free Soil Township. The case remains under investigation.

– 10:45 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.

Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020:

– 7:15 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Washington Road west of Masten Road, Logan Township.

– 3:19 p.m., assault, 2000 block of West Nurnberg Road, Grant Township. The case remains under investigation.
